One Step at a Time

I have taught in the West Clermont School District for 14 years - and am excited to teach at the new West Clermont High School.

I am hoping that in the next four years, our community can come together to establish a West Clermont Scholarship fund that will give our students living in poverty a chance to work for a college degree without accruing any debt. Through this scholarship, our community can help end poverty one student at a time. My goal is to raise $500,000 by the time the West Clermont High School class of 2021 graduates to establish a scholarship fund that will last in perpetuity. Starting in 2021, the goal is that one graduate in every graduating class receives a 4-year scholarship for $5,000/year. I have partnered with the West Clermont Education Foundation to make this goal a reality.

To raise money, I am running twelve marathons (26.2 miles each) in 2018. I have attached a list of ways you can donate, as well as the list of planned races. I am paying all my own travel and race expenses. All money donated will go to the Run for the Future Scholarship Fund.

Thank you for taking the time to consider helping the students of West Clermont High School achieve their goals. I hope that you will help us provide a college education to West Clermont students that will allow them to pursue their dreams. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Robin Hornberger
